About the Role
Are you ready to lead high-impact global projects alongside some of the brightest engineers in the industry? Uber’s Delivery organization is seeking an Engineering Manager to head our Global Data Engineering team for the Groceries and Retail vertical.
In this role, you will lead a team of Data Engineers, guiding them through a variety of mission-critical projects. You will play a key role in handling complex data challenges, ensuring the seamless delivery of data from multiple sources to Uber’s systems. Your work will span multiple global projects and will involve collaborating with top-tier engineers to solve some of the most complex data problems on the planet.
As the Engineering Manager for the Groceries and Retail business vertical, you will drive the creation and optimization of data pipelines, ensuring that data flows smoothly across thousands of sources and remains consumable for internal stakeholders. You will set high standards for operational excellence and execution, ensuring the team's success through efficient processes and innovative solutions.
You'll work closely with cross-functional leaders worldwide, collaborating on high-level projects that will shape the future of our data infrastructure and data-driven decisions.
