Qualificações

The Role

As a Mainframe App Modernization Specialist (AS/400) at Kyndryl, you'll have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world. Your work will involve developing, testing, and maintaining the software that controls a computer's operating system, hardware, and other systems software. You'll be a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, with the skills to fix even the most complex issues that arise.

Creativity and judgment applied to developmental work on different projects within the business environment. Provides ongoing technical /operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conducts special projects, or manages department(s) (national or international. Defines and decides objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources. Utilizes expertise to directly influence people outside department or function. Regularly participates in overall functional program planning. Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses.
Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of our computer systems, but you'll also work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps Kyndryl ahead of the curve.
In this role, you'll provide the underlying Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support that forms the backbone of our applications. You'll guide functional objectives on technologies and make use of your expert knowledge to drive solutions to complex problems.
As a leader in this field, you'll also be expected to conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams. You may even manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure the success of your projects.

Required Skills and Experience
• Must be proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, C++
• Excels in problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in operating systems (Linux, UNIX, or z/OS)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a "related field"

• Midrange Systems (MVS, z/VM,z/VSE, z/OS and AS/400).

• Production Environment Monitoring/Support (System)

• Production/DR Data Replication monitoring/Support (System)

• Developer Support – Maintenance/Invest Projects & Production Issues (Both)

• HART Application Production Release Deployments (Non-Application, can’t be developer)

• File Transfer (TMS,OPAC for HART, Treasury, WINS/Pacer, etc…) (System)

• Application Enrollments (WINS, Vision)

• WINS Cyber Run Book (System)

• Wins Archer Risk Assessments (System)

• Based on logging/logs

• HFP Service Account Password change requirements

• Genius Check Processing

• Backfill (Genius “all object” profile needed)

• Data Zaps (System)

• Software currency for MIMIX, HOD, PKZIP (now that lease extensions are required) (System)

• English - Advanced
• Spanish - Intermediate / Advanced

Preferred Skills and Experience
• Experience with NetView / SysView, FTP, SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect: Direct, VIPA, DVIPA, etc. ideally in a complex GDPS environment.
