Job Description

• 10-12 years experience as a metal machining operator, with operational experience of both manual and CNC lathes/mills.
• 3-5 years of experience supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment, union shop preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Directly supervise various production employees.
• Ensure effective employee relations. Provide coaching and development. Recommend employment decisions such as hiring and terminations. Resolve employee issues.
• Provide technical assistance as required.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling of shop floor personnel with production schedule. Manage priorities.
• Balance quality, productivity, costs, and morale to achieve positive results.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Perform accident investigations.
• Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
