Overview

Our customer is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support our customer’s machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives in Brazil. The position focuses on large language models and agentic AI.

The successful candidate will bring strong foundational Python skills, relevant project or internship experience, and an understanding of how ML solutions progress from data preparation to deployment and monitoring. This individual should be comfortable collaborating with senior engineers, communicating technical information clearly, and learning through hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to machine learning and artificial intelligence development focused on large language models and agentic AI.
• Support work involving data preparation, model training, evaluation, and basic deployment.
• Work with agentic AI concepts such as tool calling, prompt chaining, multi-step workflows, and human-in-the-loop solutions.
• Support model deployment through APIs, model-serving tools, or batch-inference pipelines.
• Apply version control, experiment tracking, reproducibility, monitoring, and model-performance checks.
• Collaborate with and learn under the guidance of senior engineers.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• One to two years of experience, or strong hands-on project or internship experience, in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong foundational Python skills.
• Exposure to frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
• Understanding of the machine learning and large language model lifecycle, including data preparation, training, evaluation, and basic deployment.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, such as tool calling, prompt chaining, multi-step workflows, or human-in-the-loop solutions.
• Basic experience deploying models through APIs, model-serving tools, or batch-inference pipelines.
• Awareness of version control, experiment tracking, reproducibility, monitoring, and model-performance checks.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to learn under the guidance of senior engineers.
