Qualificações

• Fluência nativa ou quase nativa em Português.
• Proficiência profissional em Chinês e Inglês.
• Bom entendimento sobre UX writing e jornada do usuário.

Responsabilidades

• Servir como ponte linguística e cultural entre usuários de diferentes idiomas.
• Resolver desajustes linguísticos e culturais na experiência do usuário.
• Colaborar com equipes multifuncionais para insights de localização.

About the team/role

We’re looking for someone with structured and critical thinking, capable of solving problems logically, as this role involves product translation tasks and may evolve into an operations-related position in the future.

In this role, you'll be...

• Serving as the linguistic and cultural bridge between Chinese, English, and Portuguese-speaking users, ensuring that our product feels native in each language.
• Identifying and resolving language or cultural mismatches in the user experience, and ensuring content is consistent, clear, and engaging.
• Continuously improving translation quality and scalability by maintaining glossaries, style guides, and leveraging localization tools.
• Translate and localize user-facing product content (e.g., UI strings, app messages, tooltips, onboarding flows) from Chinese or English into Portuguese, and vice versa.
• Ensure consistency of terminology and tone across platforms and product areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, UX, engineering) to provide localization insights during product development.
• Conduct linguis QA and testing on localized builds to ensure quality and context-appropriate translation.
• Monitor cultural and linguistic trends to inform localization decisions and improve user resonance.

We're eager to be in touch because you have...

Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in Chinese and English.

Strong understanding of UX writing, UI localization, and in-app user journeys.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

High attention to detail, cultural nuance, and linguistic accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communication, or a related field.
