About World Business Lenders

World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL services its own loan portfolio and manages third-party loan portfolios, specializing in non-performing loan pools and REO.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position, with working hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Excellent command of English, both oral and written, is required. Resumes must be submitted in English.

Position Overview

In a fast-paced, high-expectation, results-oriented environment, the Asset Resolution Analyst manages a portfolio of non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loans and REO. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring collection, loss mitigation, and recovery strategies, working with outside counsel, as well as weekly reporting and quarterly file analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor a non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loan portfolio, including REO, aiming for effective and efficient resolution.
  • Conduct proactive portfolio management according to established standards.
  • Oversee commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure activities and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with in-house and outside attorneys, collection agencies, and vendors supporting loss mitigation.
  • Interact with customers and their counsel, negotiate, and prepare settlement agreements.
  • Prepare bidding instructions and monitor loss mitigation performance and trends.
  • Implement and communicate loss mitigation decisions.
  • Maintain delinquency and loss mitigation reports, including trend analysis.
  • Analyze debtors' financial positions, credit status, background, and payment history.
  • Facilitate negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of the portfolio to reassess recovery estimates.
  • Monitor expenses and propose protective advances as needed.
  • Assist in departmental budget preparation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Law degree, Finance degree, or Business Administration degree.
  • Experience in Real Estate and commercial litigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, or loss mitigation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical, reasoning, and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Own a laptop or desktop (company does not provide equipment).
  • Excellent English fluency and communication skills, both written and verbal.
