We are currently developing a new JRPG project and seeking a Level Designer to craft engaging environments that support exploration, storytelling, and gameplay mechanics.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and blocking out interior and exterior 3D spaces in Unity, focusing on flow, sightlines, and gameplay.
• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive game experiences.
• Iterating on level layouts based on feedback and technical constraints.
• Producing detailed documentation for levels.

Qualifications:

• Experience designing levels for exploration, narrative, or tactical encounters.
• Proficiency in Unity and 3D prototyping.
• Understanding of JRPG structure and pacing.
• Strong sense of space, flow, and player guidance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Bonus points:

• Experience with turn-based combat spaces.
• Knowledge of environmental storytelling and spatial narrative.
• Technical skills in camera scripting, trigger systems, or modular assets.
• A passion for games that blend mechanical depth with emotional storytelling.
