Qualificações

  • Experiência em função jurídica em fintechs ou instituições financeiras.
  • Fluência em inglês e português é essencial.
  • Experiência no setor fintech e conhecimento das regulamentações do BACEN é um diferencial.

A little bit about us:

We are Belvo, an open finance API platform with the bold vision of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. We enable any financial innovator to access and interpret financial data, as well as initiate payments from their end-users accounts. We’re turning the messy complexities of the Latin American financial ecosystem into a modern set of tools to access and interpret data and move money in a seamless and secure way.

We’re a highly-technical, passionate, and driven team. We are more than 90 people and our team currently represents 20 nationalities. We have offices in São Paulo and Mexico City – while a large portion of us work remotely.

About the team:

  • While we are global and remote-friendly, we also operate from our vibrant offices in CDMX and Sao Paulo. To accommodate the various time zones in which we are based, we ensure we’re always synced up between 3 pm and 6 pm, CEST.

Your opportunity:

  • Research and analyze laws, regulations and procedures to provide legal support, with special focus on Brazil's financial regulatory framework.

  • Carry out privacy impact assessments in Brazilian products.

  • Support the Contract Life Cycle Management by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, amending, releasing and guaranteeing the quality of middle/high complexity documents.

  • Ensure proper follow-up of entrusted matters, daily tracking and update the progress to the relevant areas considering the timely completion of the ticketing system.

  • Support with internal corporate governance and coordinate with outside counsels when needed.

  • Interact with stakeholders across different teams, actively supporting them in getting things done.

  • Bring innovative ideas to the table.

  • Keep alignment within the legal team, have relentless curiosity, get things done and be humble and transparent.

This position may be for you if:

  • A bachelor's degree in Law.

  • +4 years of experience within a legal function in law firms, fintech, technology companies or financial institutions.

  • Strong management and organizational skills.

  • Strong team player mentality with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to partner with colleagues at all levels.

  • Collaborative spirit and problem prevention and problem solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Portuguese.

  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to question processes and bring innovative ideas.

  • Implacable curiosity.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.

Amazing if:

  • Experience in the fintech sector and Open Finance ecosystem, with demonstrated knowledge of BACEN regulations, PIX, and Open Finance frameworks.

  • Fluent in Spanish
