GE Vernova site in the Americas is seeking a Lean Leader to drive continuous improvement through hands-on Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and training programs. The role partners with manufacturing teams and other functions to operationalize the GE Vernova Operating Method and build capabilities enterprise-wide.

Travel around 50% is expected; this is not a remote role and sponsorship is not provided. The position emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and the development of Lean capabilities

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated sustainable changes successfully in manufacturing and transactional environments through end-to-end Value Stream Mapping.
• Impactful communicator with experience working and leading cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations.
• Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change.
• Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others and to lead with humility, transparency, and focus.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills; ability to conceptualize, structure, and present compelling stories to a wide range of audiences.
• Strong alignment with GE Vernova Way, including being a strong advocate for creating diverse and inclusive environments.

Responsabilidades

• Leads Value Stream Mapping across the company. Hands-on VSM practitioner who facilitates Kaizens, provide expertise on the tool, coach, and partner with the broader teams to drive transformation through lean, digital and automation.
• Build and deliver hands-on training/programs on Lean methods, focusing on people development, such as Kaizen Facilitator Training, Value Stream Mapping, Foundational Tools, Moonshine Academy, etc.
• Lead hands on initiatives (Kaizens, just-do-its, Projects) through implementation of Lean tools & philosophy to drive process improvement (value stream mapping, standard work, kaizen, Daily Management, Transactional Process Improvement, Problem Solving, etc).
• Deploy operational strategies around SQDC and sustainability.
• Develop, Identify, and deploy Lean tools designed to drive core revenue growth of the business (e.g. Kanban, Inventory Management at Gemba, Level Loading, TPM, SMED, etc).
• Assess current team organizational competency; assist in the development of the GE Vernova Roadmap for the Corporate Functions and other as needed.
• Manage overall governance and key operating processes (Hoshin Kanri initiatives, etc.) and ensure coordination at leadership team level and through the organization.
• Create an environment to foster employee engagement, diversity, professional development, and high levels of employee satisfaction.
• Lead transformation initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and optimization of end-to-end processes.

Job Description Summary

This GE Vernova Lean Leader will work to drive continuous improvement in the organization. This leader will work closely with the GE Vernova manufacturing teams, and other functions as needed, to help operationalize their strategic vision and build organizational capabilities through hands-on initiatives. This individual will serve as a facilitator, change agent and accountability partner to GE Vernova teams and drive step change leveraging Value Stream Mapping as a core tool. They will also support the GE Vernova Lean Team in its initiative to operationalize the GE Vernova Operating Method, driving synergies across the enterprise to achieve business objectives.

Location: GEV site. This is not a remote role (Preferably Americas)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $157,900.00 and $263,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
