The Flexible Pipe System (FPS) Offshore business within Baker Hughes is a leading industry supplier of unbonded flexible pipelines to API 17J with a 25+ year track record in the supply of flexible pipeline riser and flowline system globally to a range of international customers.

Partner with the best

Working through the project life cycle including Planning, Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics etc.. This role will focus on identifying and delivering productivity initiatives that support the delivery of the business priorities.

As a Productivity Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as focal for FPS Offshore productivity for the region (Brazil) and be responsible for identifying and leading productivity initiatives
  • Defining baseline plan (including annual plan) working with project team (scope, schedule, budgets, resources, improvement / saving targets and / or ROI)
  • Defining stakeholder and communication engagement plan (change management practices) to ensure successful buy-in and adoption of changes coming from the initiative
  • Defining risks, mitigation plans, and pre-align teams / leadership on actions to be taken if risk event occurs
  • Ensuring controls are in place to ensure initiative is delivered on time, on budget and that it delivers on impact expected (eg service improvement, cost savings etc)
  • Strong partnership with finance to ensure validation of annual plan (AP) and of impact of actuals within the project margin reviews (PMR’s)
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards, identifying and implementing product and project improvements, preparing regular project status reports for various stakeholders.

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain or proven relevant professional experience
  • Certified Project Management eg PMP or PRINCE2, or willing to work towards this
  • Have sound oral and written communication skills, proactive attitude and mindset
  • Demonstrate fluent English and Portuguese
  • Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, can influence and work through others
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills
