Your role and responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable engineering platforms that support large-scale software development lifecycles.

Define the architecture of internal platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Management and integration of technologies such as Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and automation to meet development team needs.
• Establish best practices for adopting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation in hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business demands and promote a DevOps culture.
• Ensure the integration and efficiency of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives on cloud platforms.
• Solid experience with platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with observability practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Go, Bash.
• Knowledge of platform security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption best practices.
• Technical leadership and mentorship skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Strategic vision and ability to prioritize in dynamic environments.
• Clear communication skills for engaging with technical and business teams.
• Experience in platform engineering or related fields, including technical leadership.
