Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Lead Application Engineer: Analog Mixed Signal to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of the Global Customer Success (GCS) team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The GCS team works with Digital, Analog, Verification, Systems tools. To understand more about our tools & flows, you can visit https://www.cadence.com.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the Analog & Mixed Signal tools & flows.
  • Work closely with R&D and Product Engineering to identify and prioritize product improvement initiatives through formal methods.
  • Ensure high impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits, and other high-level documents to increase self-service for customers.
  • Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using either tool capabilities or scripting techniques.
  • Narrow down complex problems and ensure quality CCRs for R&D resolution.

Requirements:

  • Complete Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.
  • Experience with Analog Mixed Signal products as a designer or CAD/Flow developer.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages & Analog Design Flow development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Liberate or Verilog-A or RF design is a plus.
  • Must have excellent debugging skills and the ability to separate critical issues from trivial ones.
