Qualificações

Mission
  • Take samples and analyze oil, chemicals, water, and other substances for the safe and efficient management of the plant and reporting.
Tasks
  • Ensure all activities comply with HSE requirements.
  • Identify and control hazards to prevent damage to equipment, personnel, and the environment.
  • Execute sample analysis following analytical plans.
  • Support operational staff as required.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Prepare daily/weekly analytical reports as per project requirements.
  • Take samples of crude oil, gas, glycol, and analyze produced water and injection water.
  • Ensure correct and safe transportation of hydrocarbon samples.
  • Ensure sample points are correctly installed.
  • Calibrate analysis equipment regularly.
  • Maintain laboratory logs, reports, and equipment stocks.
  • Handle and store chemicals safely, adhering to COSHH regulations.
  • Assist in data interpretation and hazardous substance assessment.
  • Operate chemical injection pumps at optimal rates.
  • Understand process systems or be willing to train.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with Permit to Work and isolation standards.
  • Be aware of emergency response roles and responsibilities.
