The Junior Video Editor role is all about turning raw footage into scroll-stopping, binge-worthy content that makes learning exciting. With our audience growing fast, you’ll help keep our videos sharp, fresh, and on-brand. It’s a chance to level up your editing skills while shaping the future of education.
This is a remote contract that pays a fixed monthly rate based on 5 days a week. We are looking for people in either Brazil, or Portugal.
Edit Video Content: Assist in editing engaging educational, marketing, and short-form and long-form videos, typically 60–80 clips/month with guidance.
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with senior editors, designers, and our star influencer teachers to ensure output matches our brand tone and goals.
Maintain Quality Standards: Follow templates, brand guidelines, and feedback loops to produce consistently high-quality videos.
Incorporate Feedback & Insights: Be open to learning from performance data, team feedback, and editorial direction to grow as an editor.
Some Experience: 6–18 months of video editing experience (can include freelance, internships, or personal projects with strong portfolios).
Language Skills: Minimum B2 (Upper intermediate) English proficiency.
Technical Skills: Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and automation tools.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Industry Experience: Background in the EdTech industry/educational content.
Market Knowledge: Experience in European, UK, or US markets.
Creative Skills: Strong sense of visual storytelling and design.
