Responsible for providing operational support to Project Managers in leading data projects within one or more squads, across all stages of the project lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure). Ensures smooth communication within the team, keeping everyone aligned with the project's direction.
Guarantees the execution of management rituals and the production of management artifacts according to established methods and standards. Ensures that squad activities are completed within the project timelines, monitors operational indicators, and drives improvement plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the execution of management rituals (sprint planning, review, daily meetings, etc.) according to established standards;
- Suggest adaptations to methods and tools based on squad and project needs;
- Promote self-management within squads, acting as a facilitator for team management and interaction;
- Create and keep updated management artifacts (Kanban boards, project backlogs, reports, presentations, documentation, etc.);
- Create and edit tasks in the company’s project management system;
- Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects;
- Ensure operational conditions are in place for the team to carry out their tasks effectively;
- Support the team in prioritizing and completing sprint activities;
- Compile and analyze operational indicators for project tracking;
- Prepare management reports, studies, and performance presentations;
- Communicate project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Basic requirements:
- Technical education or professional experience with a management focus (Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields);
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of management process practices;
- Basic or intermediate proficiency with analytical tools (Excel, BI, etc.);
- Intermediate English proficiency;
- Experience with agile project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Jira, Kanban, Backlog, Gantt, etc.);
- Experience in preparing management reports;
- Team management knowledge;
- Familiarity with consulting environments;
- Strong organization, initiative, and proactivity;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Fast problem-solving abilities;
- Strong analytical skills.
