Superbet is a growth-oriented challenger in the global sports betting market. We are looking for a Junior In Play Trader to join our expanding operation.

Our aim is to produce innovative content for our customers. Alongside our European markets, we have expanded globally with a launch in Brazil. A key part of our success is our trading teams' ability to price and trade markets using in-house models.

Role Overview

The Junior In Play Trader will be responsible for in-play trading across a wide range of football and other sports. The role includes managing pre-match parameters per league, team, and player to create engaging customer propositions. The position requires analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for sports. The candidate should be prepared to work evenings and weekends due to the sporting calendar.

Candidate Profile

• Keen interest or experience in betting and odds
• A passion for sports, especially football
• Understanding of how goalscorer, player, and team prop parameters are priced
• Previous industry trading experience
• Coding, scraping, or advanced Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

• Producing pricing parameters for markets
• Managing the transition from pre-match to in-play trading
• Trading new in-play markets with in-house models
• Monitoring and managing market risks
• Collaborating with Quants and Product Managers on databases, pricing tools, and model adjustments
• Developing trading strategies to generate profits and reduce risks
• Potential travel to London, Belgrade, Zagreb, and Bucharest to meet team members
