We are looking for an Engineer to join our Wind Asset Advisory team in São Paulo and help provide solutions to support wind farm operational success for our customers.

You will get an overview of all types of wind technical expertise relevant for developers, operators, lenders, or investors during the complete project lifecycle, focusing on operating assets. Your responsibilities include managing operational energy yield assessments and wind farm performance analysis by analyzing data and preparing reports for clients. Projects will be executed according to defined methodologies and guidelines.

You will also support the Performance team with activities such as back-cast studies, statistical analysis, or task automation. Depending on your experience, you may participate in projects related to turbine inspections or lifetime evaluations.

This role is hybrid from São Paulo.

Primary responsibilities involve delivering in-depth operational intelligence on wind farm performance, including:

1. Structuring and performing advanced analysis of high-frequency operational datasets from SCADA systems, fault alarms, and event logs, using programming tools like macros or Python.
2. Interpreting and validating monthly performance reports from Operation & Maintenance contractors, providing data-driven insights for KPI tracking, availability metrics, and energy yield assessments.
3. Using specialized software and diagnostic tools to process turbine- and plant-level data, supporting analysis of downtimes, wind anomalies, specific losses (environmental, curtailment, operational strategies, electrical), and performance indicators.
4. Calculating P50 energy production using established methodologies and analyzing long-term wind data series in conjunction with performance findings.
5. Developing scripts to improve analysis processes and analyzing technical documentation such as field activity contracts or inspection reports.

Qualifications include:

• University degree in a quantitative field (Physical Sciences, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Renewable Energy) from an accredited institution.
• 2-3 years of experience in the wind industry.
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB, along with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong team spirit.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish skills are a plus.

Preferred additional experience includes development or due diligence for wind parks, field expertise in turbines, or project management knowledge (e.g., PMBOK).
