Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks a lawyer to draft, review and analyze contracts, pleadings, notices and other legal documents under supervision.

You will conduct research on legislation, case law and legal doctrine to support legal opinions and court filings, monitor judicial and administrative proceedings, assist in preparing litigation reports and meeting with clients under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Qualificações

• Law degree with active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Experience drafting and analyzing contracts, pleadings, and notices.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English drafting and communication.
• Ability to work under supervision and in team environments.

• Draft, review and analyze contracts, pleadings, notices and other legal documents under supervision.


• Conduct research on legislation, case law and legal doctrine to support legal opinions and court filings.


• Monitor and follow judicial and administrative proceedings.

• Meet with clients to clarify questions and gather information, always under the guidance of senior attorneys.


• Support the organization and maintenance of files and internal legal systems.


• Participate in internal and external meetings, and handle communications and diligences with judges and appellate judges.

Requirements

• Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).


• Prior experience in civil litigation and arbitration.


• Strong oral and written communication skills, with good legal drafting in Portuguese and English.


• Organizational skills, proactivity and ability to work in a team.
