Jobtailor in São Paulo seeks an accounting professional to assist in preparing financial statements, trial balances, and accounting reports under supervision. You will analyze cost entries, perform reconciliations, and help maintain tax documents with strong attention to internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 1+ year of accounting experience, and solid Excel skills. Knowledge of PROTHEUS is a plus, as is familiarity with tax reconciliation and auditing support.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Availability to visit company units when necessary.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting.
• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals: double-entry bookkeeping, chart of accounts and journal entries.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliation formulas).
• Experience with the PROTHEUS system is a plus.
• Knowledge of taxation and accounting reconciliation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly trial balances and accounting reports under supervision
• Analyze and review cost entries and transactions, identifying and reporting discrepancies
• Perform accounting and bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving any differences
• Support the organization, verification and retention of accounting and tax documents, maintaining traceability required by internal controls and quality management
• Assist in controlling fixed assets – recording, classification and depreciation – under supervision, helping to ensure accurate records and compliance with standards
• Support responses to audit, inspection and internal control requests by organizing the required information
• Stay up to date on accounting and tax best practices and participate in required trainings, including mandatory Quality Management System trainings
• Uphold the Foundation’s values and ethical conduct in internal and external relations, maintaining good relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other departments
