Jobtailor in Salvador, Bahia is seeking a skilled HVAC technician for on-site installations, startup, commissioning and preventive maintenance of commercial systems. You will work with VRF/TVR, split, rooftop units, chiller maintenance, and electrical/hydronic integration at customer sites.

Qualificações

Technical high school diploma in a relevant field (Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning).
Experience with air conditioning maintenance and field service work.
NR 10 and NR 35 certifications preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Availability to work on-site at a customer location Mon–Fri.

Responsabilidades

Install HVAC equipment.
Perform equipment start-up and commissioning.
Connect the electrical and hydronic systems to customer equipment.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Carry out repairs, inspections, and activations of commercial HVAC systems.
Assess the conditions required for on-site installations and repairs.
Prepare and retain periodic reports on completed services.
Monitor and coordinate third-party service providers.
Actively participate in corrective and preventive maintenance at customer sites alongside other team members.

Install HVAC equipment.
Perform equipment start-up and commissioning.
Connect the electrical and hydronic systems to customer equipment.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment according to the maintenance plan.
Carry out repairs, inspections, and activations of commercial HVAC systems.
Assess the conditions required for on-site installations and repairs.
Maintain and take care of work tools, reporting signs of wear and the need for replacement.
Prepare and retain periodic reports on completed services.
Monitor and coordinate third-party service providers.
Actively participate in corrective and preventive maintenance at customer sites alongside other team members.

Requirements

Technical high school diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning and Climate Control.
Experience with air conditioning maintenance and field service work.
Knowledge of chiller maintenance.
NR 10 certification (electrical services) and NR 35 certification (working at heights) preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Availability to work on-site at a customer location from Monday to Friday.
Knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF/TVR, split systems, self-contained units, rooftop units, and chillers, including reciprocating, scroll, screw, and centrifugal compressors), system peripherals, variable frequency drives, automation systems, soldering and brazing, and universal EPA certification or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
