Job summary

Customertimes is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce team and contribute to a large-scale project for a leading US university in the Higher Education sector. The role blends hands-on development with technical ownership, designing and building Salesforce solutions, working on integrations, and guiding platform enhancements.

Hybrid work may be available as we expand in São Paulo.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and implementing Salesforce solutions with configuration and integration.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex and LWC.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs with stakeholders.

About this job:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce team and contribute to a large-scale Salesforce project for a leading US university in the Higher Education industry.

The project focuses on the evolution and support of the university's Salesforce environment as it transitions toward a Managed Services model. The role combines hands‑on development with technical ownership: you will design and build Salesforce solutions, work on integrations and platform enhancements, contribute to technical decisions, and help ensure development best practices across the team.

Hybrid work may become available if the company opens an office in São Paulo

How you'll make an impact:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements;
• Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations with external systems;
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs;
• Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce configurations and customizations;
• Integrate Salesforce with third‑party applications via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft);
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce development standards and security best practices;
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and evaluate the applicability of new features to ongoing projects;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions;
• Provide guidance and recommendations on technical decisions and best practices;
• Encourage the adoption of standard solutions and best practices to optimize Salesforce usage and efficiency.

What makes you a great fit:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams. Fluency in English is required;
• Proven experience in supporting and implementing Salesforce solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration;
• Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs;
• Experience with Salesforce DX and modern DevOps practices;
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits;
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

You are a star if you have:

• Experience working on Salesforce projects in the nonprofit, NGO, charity, or fundraising space;
• Familiarity with donor management, donations, fundraising, grants, or similar processes;
• Experience with US‑based clients;
• Availability to work with teams and clients in the EST time zone.
