Job summary

Customertimes is seeking a detail-oriented Backend Data Specialist with strong Python, SQL, and Windows scripting expertise to design, optimize, and maintain backend data workflows handling healthcare data.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA), and deliver reliable data pipelines across Europe and Latam while contributing to data quality and security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python for backend development, automation, and data manipulation/analysis.
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries, optimization, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with Windows shell scripting (PowerShell/Batch) for task automation and system ops.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data privacy (e.g., HIPAA).

We are seeking a detail-oriented Backend Data Specialist with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Windows environment scripting. In this role, you will help design, optimize, and maintain backend data workflows while interacting with sensitive healthcare data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate processes, perform data analysis, and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.

Location: Europe, Latam

How you'll make an impact:

• Backend Development & Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize Python scripts and backend systems for data processing, system automation, and data analysis;
• Database Management: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines to handle large healthcare datasets efficiently;
• Environment & Shell Scripting: Develop and maintain automation workflows within a Windows environment using Windows Shell (PowerShell / Command Line);
• Compliance & Documentation: Review, understand, and apply relevant healthcare regulations to ensure system compliance and data integrity. Thoroughly document technical findings, workflows, and process changes;
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members to report insights, troubleshoot issues, and align project goals.
