Flexible Scheduling:

We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer full-time, part-time, and relief opportunities. Our standard full-time schedule is Wednesday-Saturday from 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with a 1.5-hour lunch break.

Mentorship and New Graduate Support:

New graduates will have access to extensive support both within and outside of the practice. Inside the clinic, we provide shadowing opportunities and extended appointment times to ensure a smooth transition into practice. Beyond the practice, new associates can participate in:

• Virtual orientations to review available resources, develop mentee-driven action plans, and discuss work-life balance strategies.
• Near-peer mentorship to help navigate the transition from school to practice.
• Virtual topic rounds on the first Tuesday of the month, with protected schedule time to attend.
• Empower Hour for Recent Grads on the third Thursday of the month, covering topics such as client communication, leveraging your support team, and financial planning.
• VetLife program, which includes access to a Slack channel for case discussions, CE opportunities, and a supportive community.
• VetLife Days, allowing DVMs to visit another Vetcor clinic each quarter to learn new skills without using PTO.
