CI&T is seeking a Senior/Master developer to join a global financial services client, driving modern software delivery with Python and Java across microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architecture, and ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation while delivering robust, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Python development (min 3 years) with Django/Flask/FastAPI.
• Proven experience in Java development (min 1 year) with microservices & containerization, APIs, OAuth/OpenID/SAML.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Git and automated testing (TDD/BDD).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

As a Senior/Master developer, you will play a pivotal role in one of the world’s most recognized financial services institutions, with a strong presence across insurance, retirement, asset management and financial protection solutions. With a global footprint and a long-standing reputation for trust, scale, and innovation, the client continues to invest in technology as a key enabler to modernize its business, accelerate delivery and create more intelligent digital experiences, also focused on accelerating software delivery by introducing AI-assisted engineering capabilities across the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and implement software solutions in Python / Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features/products.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Actively participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of produced code.
• Document processes and results, contributing to knowledge maintenance within the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Python development (minimum of 3 years) - frameworks such as Django or Flask or FastAPI
• Proven experience in Java development (minimum of 1 year) - microservices & containerization, APIs, swagger, IAM integrations (OAuth, OpenID, SAML)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
• Ability to write automated tests and experience with TDD/BDD.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third‑party services.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to solve complex problems and work independently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Languages:

• Advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• knowledge of IA/Maching Learning PyTorch or TensorFlow or LangChain;
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of other programming languages (JavaScript, Go, etc.).
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
