CI&T in Brazil seeks a Senior Software Engineer, AI-First Development, to build scalable cloud-native solutions, leveraging AI to boost engineering productivity.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, QA and DevOps, own end-to-end services, and mentor junior engineers while advancing AI adoption across projects at CI&T. Strong expertise in Java and Python, Azure, Databricks, microservices, REST APIs are expected, with a track record delivering enterprise-grade software.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong distributed systems and cloud-native architecture knowledge.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and Agile development.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, AI-First Development who is
passionate about building modern, scalable software while leveraging Artificial Intelligence to
dramatically improve engineering productivity.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who embraces AI-first software development,
automates repetitive engineering tasks, and takes end-to-end ownership of the services they
build.

The ideal candidate is an expert in Java, Python, Azure, Azure Databricks, Microservices, and modern SDLC practices, with proven experience delivering cloud-native enterpriseapplications. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for an engineer who actively uses AI toaccelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate engineering workflows, and
increase developer productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java and Python.

• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile software development.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
