At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing our analytics capabilities. You will employ statistical techniques and machine learning methodologies to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Collaborating with teams across the organization, you will help shape the future of our projects by turning complex data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct causal tests and hypotheses to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs (treatment vs. control groups).
• Develop productivity forecasting models based on input data and operator attendance records.
• Propose recommendations for Individual Development Plans (PDI) based on data insights.
• Create recommendations on the ideal composition and scaling of teams for each production line.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, transforming statistical insights into practical business recommendations.
• Utilize machine learning techniques (primarily regression) and causal inference frameworks.
• Support the exploration of AI/LLMs-based solutions in specific areas (e.g., PDI with intelligent agents).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience as a Data Scientist, preferably focusing on applied statistics.
• Solid knowledge in causal inference and hypothesis testing.
• Solid knowledge in regression models and supervised machine learning techniques.
• Python and popular libraries: scikit-learn, statsmodels, pandas.
• Experience with Databricks/Spark for handling and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with MLflow for model versioning and management.
• Ability to translate technical results into actionable business insights.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Previous experience in People Analytics or HR Analytics projects.
• Knowledge of Crew AI and/or automation tools like N8N.
• Familiarity with LLMs/Generative AI applied to intelligent agents.
• Strong communication skills for direct interaction with stakeholders and business areas.
• Advanced English proficiency.
