About the Team:
Our organization has successfully implemented a highly efficient and cost-effective web architecture leveraging modern Jamstack principles and a suite of AWS services. We are now embarking on an exciting initiative to enhance our content velocity and streamline our Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) approval processes by integrating Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) into our existing ecosystem. This role will be crucial in building and maintaining the AWS infrastructure that supports this integration and our existing digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure to support our web applications and the integration with Adobe AEM.
- Work with a variety of AWS services including, but not limited to, S3, CloudFront, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Develop and implement a robust publish-subscribe model, potentially leveraging AWS EventBridge, to facilitate content syndication across multiple channels.
- Enhance and scale our existing event bus infrastructure to ensure reliable and versioned content delivery.
- Collaborate with frontend development teams using React-based Next.js framework to integrate AWS services into user experiences.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS environment performance and availability.
- Adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements within the AWS environment.
- Participate in the planning and execution of proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives related to AEM integration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in designing, building, and managing AWS infrastructure for web applications and services.
- Proficiency in working with core AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Experience with implementing and managing event-driven architectures, ideally with AWS EventBridge or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and AWS networking services (e.g., VPC, Route 53).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in an AWS environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
