EPAM Systems is seeking a Java/Node.js Development Team Lead with SAP proficiency. You will provide technical leadership to the team while contributing to SAP Business Technology Platform applications.

This hybrid role allows work from Montenegro or EPAM offices in Herceg-Novi and Podgorica, with responsibility for code reviews, feature development and architectural decisions. You will guide the team through RESTful services, microservices, and SAP-related tech stacks, while collaborating with

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of Java 8 required.
• RESTful architecture experience with JAX-RS (Jersey, CXF).
• Proficiency with JPA (EclipseLink) and Spring Boot (MVC, Data, Security, WebFlux).
• Competent in microservice architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience or knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA, and SAP CAP (Java, Node.js).
• English language level – B2 or higher.

We are seeking a talented Java/Node.js Development Team Lead with proficiency in SAP.

Become a part of EPAM and contribute to developing and supporting applications within the SAP Business Technology Platform. Your role will also involve providing technical leadership to the team.

This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Montenegro, whether it's your home or our dynamic offices in Herceg-Novi and Podgorica.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and develop features based on best software development practices, ensuring clean code and clean design
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs
• Write technical and user documentation
• Cooperate with the team, track its performance and needs
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on technical topics, provide required metrics to management
• Participate in the setup, improvement and implementation of development processes
• Provide design and architectural decisions

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java 8
• RESTful architecture expertise, including JAX-RS (Jersey, Apache CXF)
• Flexibility to use JPA (EclipseLink) and Spring Boot, covering MVC, Data, Security and WebFlux
• Proficiency in design principles and competency in microservice architecture
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Work experience or theoretical knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), HANA database and SAP CAP (Java, Node.js)
• English language level – B2 and higher
