Java Developer at BairesDev

Being a Java Developer in our Development Team is like being a full-time problem solver. We expect your abilities to combine experience, knowledge, and independence. So, if you are willing to take on complex tasks and master your tech stack—Java—then you are probably one of those unique candidates we’re looking for.

What You Will Do:

1. Work with software development teams to gather requirements and ensure best practices are followed.
2. Design, implement, and support solutions for application development, security, analytics, and performance management.
3. Conform to existing industry and Verizon security coding standards, adhering to Fortify scan and other security review requirements.
4. Conduct code reviews for junior team members and peer reviews to ensure standards are maintained.
5. Run test scripts against code to ensure quality delivery.
6. Resolve code issues with urgency.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in Java.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices and cloud technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms.
• IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Strong understanding of best practices, SOLID principles, clean code, and scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
• Experience developing entire applications from scratch.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with version control systems.
• Advanced English proficiency.
