You may contribute your expertise by…

• Reading Japanese text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
• Writing short stories in Japanese about given topics.
• Assessing whether Japanese text generated by an AI is factually accurate.

Examples of Desirable Expertise

• Experience as a professional translator.
• Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Payment

• Core project work pays an average of USD $31.00 per hour.
• In Japan, the average is ¥4529 JPY per hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime, lower rates may apply. Some projects offer incentives. Please review payment terms for each project.
