A leading fertility clinic in Manaus is seeking an experienced IVF physician responsible for diagnosing and treating infertility patients. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced reproductive technologies and work collaboratively with laboratory teams to provide comprehensive care. Position Overview
IVF physicians are responsible for providing comprehensive diagnosis and personalized treatment plans for infertility patients, utilizing advanced assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including IVF, ICSI, IUI, ovarian stimulation, embryo transfer, and embryo freezing and donation programs.
This position plays a key role within the hospital, serving as the core link between medical technology, patient trust, and clinical outcomes.
Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment
Perform a comprehensive medical history, physical examination, and reproductive evaluation for infertile couples.
Analyze the reproductive health of both the woman and the man (including hormone analysis, fallopian tube patency, and semen analysis).
Develop personalized treatment plans, including medication, ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, or ICSI.
Monitor ovarian stimulation response and adjust medication dosages to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Perform embryo transfer, egg retrieval, ultrasound monitoring, and related minimally invasive procedures.
Laboratory Collaboration and Quality Control
Work closely with embryologists and the laboratory technical team to ensure smooth egg retrieval, fertilization, culture, and transfer.
Participate in laboratory quality oversight and process improvement to ensure fertilization and pregnancy rates.
Ensure that all ART procedures comply with international and national medical standards, including ICMR, NABH, and ISO.
Patient Communication and Psychological Support
Explain the treatment process, success rates, risks, and alternatives to patients.
Provide emotional support and medical counseling throughout the treatment cycle to foster a positive doctor-patient relationship.
Maintain patient privacy and information security.
Research and Continuous Improvement
Keep track of the latest international advances in assisted reproductive technology (e.g., embryo screening, PGT-A, cryopreservation, third-party assisted reproduction, etc.).
Regularly participate in academic conferences, training, and continuing education programs.
Assist the hospital in improving clinical success rates and treatment processes.
Administration and Management
Record and manage patient medical records and treatment files, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Cooperate with hospital management on team training, case reporting, and performance evaluation.
Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, collaborating with gynecologists, andrologists, and psychologists.
