The Team

Eurofins develops all of its software applications in-house to support its laboratories worldwide. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, our laboratories strive to ensure access to the most specialized and innovative diagnostic techniques. Technology plays a crucial role in this effort.

Our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will be extensively used as the central Laboratory Information Management System across Europe. This role is key in defining and delivering the product roadmap.

Job Description

Test Preparation

• Draw up/update test cases based on specifications and prepare for execution.
• Review customer requirements for completeness and clarity.
• Apply black box test design techniques (EP, BVA, Decision Table, State Transition, Use Case).
• Prioritize test cases for automation and regression.

Test Execution

• Ensure correct application of the test plan.
• Create test logs with Pass/Fail results.
• Document defects with evidence and discuss with developers.
• Perform exploratory testing.
• Automate testing processes with approved tools.

Test Reporting

• Analyze and communicate test results.
• Provide daily test reports.
• Suggest improvements to testing processes.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years testing experience.
• Experience with FrontEnd and BackEnd Test Automation.
• Experience testing Desktop Applications (Delphi).
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; French or German is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and motivation to develop Test Automation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, TDD practices.
