About This Opportunity

InComm Healthcare is looking for an experienced QA Engineer - ideally a candidate with both manual and automation testing experience. This is a growing dev team working on exciting Microsoft stack applications in C#/.Net Core, Angular, entity framework for database fetching, SQL server.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, risk-based, exploratory testing as part of an agile development team
• Utilize a shift left mindset to prevent issues during design and coding
• Own the testing strategy for the team’s projects
• Escalate quality concerns and help the team own their resolution
• Collaborate across teams in an effective and efficient manner
• Document and share knowledge
• Advocate for Agile best practices
• Train and mentor QA and Dev team on testing best practices
• Suggest and implement process improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience testing web-based applications
• Experience being part of a high performing Agile team
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience a plus
• 3+ years of experience with QA and/or application development
• 3+ years of experience with black box and white box testing

Strong preference to candidates with:

• Trained in Rapid Software Testing methodologies
• Experience with testing web-based ecommerce products
• Experience with relational databases (SQL)
• Basic programming/scripting ability; working knowledge of C# and JavaScript
• Experience with Selenium/Cypress.
• Experience with Postman – API testing
• Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10
• Knowledge of health care domain.
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure
