Job Description

Purpose: To manage and ensure successful end-to-end delivery of IT projects or IT work streams of business projects to the agreed scope, time-frame, cost, and quality.

Major/Key Accountabilities:

1. Develop project scope and objectives, evaluate options for project delivery, and prepare project documentation and plans.
2. Ensure that IT solution requirements are defined, delivered, and monitored.
3. Ensure quality control procedures are used correctly.
4. Establish the IT solution delivery project team(s) working methods.
5. Develop schedules and work packages for the IT project delivery team.
6. Monitor and adjust activities, resources, and plans.
7. Control hand-over of responsibility for the IT solution to business as usual support.
8. Initiate and influence key stakeholder relationships.
9. Build effective business relationships.
10. Make decisions impacting project success, including results, deadlines, and budget.
11. Perform complex technical and professional work activities.
12. Understand the relationship between own specialism and wider organizational requirements.
13. Analyze, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to meet targets.
14. Assess and evaluate risk.
15. Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders with diverse objectives.
16. Understand the relevance of own area to the organization.
17. Consider customer requirements in proposals.
18. Analyze requirements and advise on scope and operational improvements.
19. Take into account relevant legislation.
20. Keep skills up to date and stay aware of industry developments.

Challenges - Problem Solving: Analyzing, reasoning, and arriving at solutions for routine and complex problems, including dealing with ambiguity and influencing technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or CAPM) from PMI (desirable).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (desirable).

Experience

• Significant experience in an IT Finance-focused role.
• 7+ years managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
• Proven success in improving customer experience.
• Experience working within a matrix structure.
