Job description

A Japanese multinational company is looking for an IT & Cybersecurity Coordinator in the Integrated Digital Strategy Department responsible for IT, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and other related areas to several offices and group companies in South America in collaboration with USA and Tokyo offices.



Main responsibilities

1. Cybersecurity

  • Planning and executing initiatives of IT security/cybersecurity services in collaboration with 3rd party partners for the company’s offices and groups.
  • Conducting IT security assessments of group companies.
  • Proposing improvement measures and providing support for improvements.
  • Coping with emergency situations in cybersecurity incidents:
  • Initial response to prevent further damage.
  • Proposing and assisting with mitigation solutions.
  • Vulnerability diagnosis.
  • Penetration testing (plan, execute, instruct, oversee with partners).
  • Planning and implementing cybersecurity awareness measures (e.g., seminars).
  • Technical consultation and training in cybersecurity.
  • Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (e.g., Endpoint Management, Behavioral Analytics, DLP).

2. IT Infrastructure

  • Planning and execution of in-house IT and for clients infrastructure design, maintenance, and operation in collaboration with 3rd-party partners.
  • Knowledge and operation of:
  • User/device certification & authentication systems.
  • Cloud systems (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) — preferrable Azure, Google Cloud, AWS + Office 365.
  • Network administration:
  1. Switches / Routers / Firewalls
  2. LAN / WLAN / WAN
  3. OSI Model
  • General computer systems architecture.

3. IT Consulting | Client Support | Project Management

  • Proposing consulting services (managerial/technical advice) and supporting clients (offices and group companies in LATAM).
  • Providing seminars, training, and support to IT staff in the group and offices.
  • Conducting initiatives in collaboration with 3rd-party partners.by searching for and establishing partnerships in South America.
  • Building frameworks that meet client needs.
  • Project Management across all technical and consulting initiatives.


Requirements and skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Information Technology or an equivalent discipline/experience).
  • Proven working experience (totally more than 7 years) in one or more the related areas: Cybersecurity | IT Infrastructure | IT Consulting
  • Fluent in English – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Spanish, with sufficient fluency to conduct business with Spanish-speaking clients.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and an analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts, and build consensus.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with various business users, senior management, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely explain complex concepts or incidents, both orally and in writing, with advanced documentation skills (including visualizations such as diagrams and charts).
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
