This position reports into a Supply Chain Manager and is a hybrid position based at Sao Jose dos Campos/SP.

What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Inventory Optimization Senior Analyst to support our journey in reducing inventory levels across the LATAM region. This position will focus on materials sourced directly or indirectly (via external manufacturing/filling partners), and will be instrumental in identifying, leading, and implementing supply chain and procurement-driven optimization initiatives.

The analyst will work closely with the Procurement and Planning teams to:

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze current inventory levels and identify reduction opportunities through:
2. Lead time reduction
3. Local sourcing instead of imports
4. Transition from Make-To-Order to Make-To-Forecast
5. Lead initial supplier discussions and gather input for solution design
6. Build detailed business cases, presenting costs, benefits, and implementation requirements
7. Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of proposed changes
8. Act as Project Lead for initiatives approved for implementation
9. Track key metrics and report on progress against inventory reduction targets
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Planning, Finance, Quality, TAX, Supply Chain, etc.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
2. Experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or inventory management
3. Strong analytical and data modeling skills (Excel advanced)
4. Solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory optimization levers
5. Experience building business cases and presenting to leadership
6. Project management skills and ability to lead initiatives from concept to execution
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of managing internal and external stakeholders
8. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
9. Advanced English; Spanish is a plus

Desired Qualifications

1. Experience working with external manufacturers or third-party suppliers
2. Knowledge of incoterms and their impact on inventory
3. Familiarity with demand planning concepts (IBP, S&OP, MRP)
4. Experience in matrix organizations
