BEES, AB InBev's B2B platform, is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable services using Java and Spring Boot in Campinas, Brazil. You’ll contribute to microservices, RESTful APIs, and system observability to support millions of retailers and sellers worldwide.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with observability tools, Agile practices, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Experience with observability tools such as New Relic or Datadog.
• Strong active listening and ability to empathize with customers and teammates.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies in fast-paced environments.
• Intermediate English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot;

What you’ll need:

• Experience with observability tools (New Relic, Datadog, etc), monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Good active listening skills, and the ability to empathize with customers, stakeholders, and other software engineers.
• Experience working using Agile methodology in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Differentials:
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Some knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).

• Maintain and ensure quality throughout the applications.
• Perform code reviews based on defined code standards.
