About you

RHI Magnesita is currently seeking a CPI Specialist that can provide a high level of technical knowledge and experience to help us provide integration solutions (SAP and other cloud solutions). This is a specialist level role where you will have the opportunity to design and implement interfaces using SAP CPI.

In addition, you have:

• High level of expertise in SAP Integration Suite, participating in different projects and landscapes, adopting best practices and providing intelligent and efficient interfaces.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• SAP Integration Suite certification will be considered an asset.
• Experience with Cloud integration platforms - SAP Integration.
• Previous experience with CPI (SAP Cloud Platform Integrations) and/or HCI is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Groovy Scripts.
• Experience in message mappings and XSLTs.
• Strong experience in integrations, designing, developing, and deploying.
• Experience with common adapters: SFTP, REST, JDBC, Mail, SAP Idocs, HTTP, and APIs (SOAP and REST).
• Desirable experience in SAP API management, Integration Assessment, B2B scenarios.
• Basic Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S4 Hana.
• Experience in all project phases; 2 end-to-end implementations is desirable.
• Knowledge of other SAP solutions such as Concur and SF is a plus.
• Previous experience in SAP PI/PO is an advantage.
• Event Mesh concepts and hands-on experience is an advantage.
• Authentication and authorization basic concepts are required.
• Experience with SAP and SAP-ABAP is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud solutions such as SuccessFactors/Ariba will be considered an asset.
• SAP experienced in end-to-end implementations for SAP integration using SAP HCI/CPI/Integration Suite.
• Broad awareness of Integration possibilities and platforms to support customer implementations.
• SAP Functional knowledge is an advantage.
• Java programming skills and experience with Portal Development Kit is good to have.
• Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Agile Scrum or Kanban.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. Other languages will be considered an asset.

About the job

As an Integration Suite Specialist, you will play an important role in the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita, being a key individual for accountability, validating and proposing design solutions, creating POCs, and staying in touch with external suppliers to ensure the best solutions and integration practices are followed. You will develop and support main initiatives, being part of the Integrated Business Services department. Your focus lies on aligning the architecture with the rest of the team, establishing a great partnership with diverse product owners, supporting our internal customers and development teams, and implementing the agreed and prioritized interfaces.

Your tasks will include:

• Evaluate the best integration architecture for each project/product.
• Ensure interfaces are secure and stable.
• Monitor interfaces and propose optimizations when possible.
• Partner with other architects, developers, and engineers to facilitate the deployment of the solutions.
• Demonstrate the ability to work within an Agile project delivery methodology.
• Stay up to date with best practices, tools, and process changes regularly.
• Oversee and mentor junior software developers, as well as report to management.
