The courteous and prompt provision of operational support relating to assigned application systems. This includes mitigating customer impact of issues, initiating action to determine root causes, and implementing problem resolution.

About The Role

1. Work closely with other Business Systems Analysts, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research, Customers and Prospects
2. Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop approaches for improving or further leveraging these systems.
3. Provide deep SAP domain know-how and act as an SAP expert at Thomson Reuters for transaction tax solutions, coordinating with other functional areas within the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Application Suite to ensure a full end-to-end Integration solution.
4. Perform detailed analysis of business integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, and FI) feasibility and support.
5. Configure SAP application settings (MM, SD, and FI).
6. Support product rollouts and implementations as a domain expert and/or primary business interface.
7. Follow the product into the field to ensure customer success, providing business and data integration expertise to customers, partners, and internal teams.
8. Assist in providing 2nd level support and training to Customer Support, Professional Services, and partners.
9. Analyze complex customer problems, assess impact scope, mitigate customer impact, and define, review, and execute workarounds.
10. Be prepared to work in shifts (USA CST) and support on-call pager duty.

About you

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience; formal education in accounting/finance is a plus.
2. Familiarity with SAP accounting and G/L functionality in ECC, S/4HANA, or S/4HANA Cloud is required.
3. Strong FI background, with experience in SD or MM.
4. At least 5 years of experience in analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of large SAP projects.
5. Two full SAP implementation life cycles, preferably including international/VAT deployments.
6. Proficiency in SAP condition technique, pricing, and IMG configuration.
7. Strong analytical and design skills with extensive hands-on configuration experience.
8. Previous experience with SAP tax interface is highly desirable.
9. Experience within a software company is a plus, as is familiarity with other ERP systems.
10. Knowledge of accounting fundamentals is beneficial.
11. Ability to read ABAP code and work with database tools like DbVisualizer is advantageous.
12. Understanding of Indirect Tax/VAT, ONESOURCE Indirect Tax, Sabrix, and US Sales and Use tax are additional pluses.
