Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about healthcare technology, education, and driving operational efficiency in hospitals? Join B. Braun and play a vital role in enhancing patient safety through smarter instrument tracking.

As an Instrument Tracking System Educator, you will be at the forefront of delivering training, support, and guidance for B. Braun’s instacount PLUS system—our advanced instrument tracking solution for hospital Central Sterilisation Services Departments (CSSDs).

Reporting directly to the Managing Director & Manager – Digital Health Solutions, you'll work closely with hospital staff and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of the system into clinical workflows and maximise user adoption. This role blends education, technology, and customer support to make a real-world impact in healthcare environments across Australia.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design & Deliver Training- create and conduct tailored training programs – from hands-on workshops to e-learning – to meet the needs of diverse users and learning styles.
  • Support End-Users- provide responsive technical and system support via helpdesk, online or on-site sessions, and during go-live periods.
  • Improve User Competency- empower users with the confidence and skills needed to fully leverage instacount PLUS, improving traceability, compliance, and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate Across Teams- partner with the Instrument Management System (IMS) team and broader internal stakeholders to align on customer needs, installations, and product enhancements.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement- use user feedback and your observations to refine training tools and contribute insights for system development and troubleshooting.

About You

Ideally, your background will include:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering education/training to healthcare professionals or clinical environments
  • Solid customer service mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator, capable of presenting to varied audiences from CSSD staff to clinicians
  • Technically capable with intermediate IT literacy and basic helpdesk experience
  • Organised and collaborative, with a proactive and outcomes-focused approach

Desirable

  • CSSD or Operating Theatre clinical/technical experience
  • Understanding of AS5369 standards and hospital sterilisation protocols
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to undertake)
  • Experience with technical and application training for healthcare professionals and customers.
  • Experience with instacount PLUS or other surgical instrument tracking systems will be highly advantageous

Additional Requirement

To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver’s Licence, the ability to travel within Metro & Regional NSW and the occasional requirement to travel interstate, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
