Injection Supervisor

This position is responsible for supervising daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Manage and direct activities of the shift, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput.
  • Maintain effective relationships with team members, promote safety, engagement, productivity, and throughput.
  • Analyze production schedules, adjust team assignments, and verify system data.
  • Coach, develop, and evaluate team members; partner with HR for recruitment and disciplinary actions.
  • Inspect raw materials, perform quality checks, and collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues.
  • Complete shift reports and conduct safety and quality walkthroughs.
  • Interface with other departments to meet customer deadlines.
  • Participate in hiring interviews and promote a safety culture.
  • Conduct safety trainings and adhere to safety standards.
  • Follow GMP and Food Safety Standards; suggest improvements.
  • Monitor team attendance and use tools to analyze downtime.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications

Minimum: 4 years in manufacturing, with management experience.

Preferred: 6 years in manufacturing, with management experience.

*Experience may include education.
