TASKS/REQUIRED SERVICES

The successful candidate should have excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results. He/she will be required to liaise and report to the project manager both orally and in writing.

The position requires very strong technical skills: The service provider must possess excellent software architecture knowledge and skills and be able to work hands-on in building high-quality software components and front-end architecture that enable easy-to-understand user journeys.

The successful candidate must also have solid experience with complex web-based IT solutions built with Angular technology. He/she must demonstrate excellent knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RxJS, JS ES6, Node, NPM, Git, and IntelliJ.

The candidate must be familiar with these technologies to properly select and implement solutions for the design and building of websites.

The successful candidate must possess knowledge and experience in defining the architecture and structure of public websites.

He/she must demonstrate very good knowledge of iterative project management methodologies (Agile/SCRUM), requirements engineering, and quality assurance processes, and be proficient with JIRA.

Knowledge of Commission web communication rules would be considered an advantage.

The candidate must be fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing at least at level C1).

II.1. TASK 1: ANALYSIS AND SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

The service provider will be tasked to develop, in collaboration with other team members, the system architecture and to conduct technical analysis for the IT systems, considering the current state of the systems, relevant documentation, and new, emerging requirements.

II.2. TASK 2: SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

The service provider will also contribute significantly to the development and deployment of solutions, using the European Corporate eUI platform for developing and/or reusing corporate software modules for the creation of the systems above.
