Overview

The Indirect Sourcing Analyst supports the procurement strategy for indirect categories by analyzing spend data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supplier performance, and contributing to sourcing initiatives. This role ensures the efficient services that are not directly related to production, such as marketing, travel, professional services, and facilities. This role will work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, supports RFx processes, and drives compliance with procurement policies to deliver value, reduce risk, and enhance supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate corporate contracts to reduce the supplier base and standardize services across the Latam region.
  • Market monitoring to stay updated and bring new sourcing alternatives adding value to the business.
  • Focus on cost savings, cost optimization, and short lead times.
  • Support strategic sourcing with the objective of raising potential savings with corporate contracts.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day execution of procurement activities.
  • Performance analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service level improvements.
  • Responsible for training on procurement policies for Latam.
  • Knowledge of corporate travel and event negotiations is a plus.
  • Monitor and ensure negotiations comply with EW policies.
  • Create dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions according to our needs.
  • Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with Edwards Global and local business to identify opportunities for improvement and implement efficient solutions for the Latam region.
  • Be the focal point for travelers' questions when reporting in SAP Concur or other travel systems.
  • Ensure travel procedures and policies are up to date and reflected in management systems.
  • Ensure travel-related agreements by global and local teams are active in the TMCs and properly applied.
  • Other duties assigned by Leadership.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree. Solid experience in contract or bid management is required.

Additional Skills
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
  • Experience working with source-to-pay or related systems (e.g., Coupa) preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Moderate knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to contract or bid management.
  • Moderate knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects.
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
