Amazon Program Manager - Inbound Team

Amazon is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Program Manager in the Inbound team, dedicated to delighting customers by fulfilling products from Amazon and Selling Partners swiftly, on time, and cost-effectively. This position is part of the Brazil Supply Chain, within the Inbound and Placement team.

As a member of the Inbound and Placement team, you will identify problems, analyze data, build trust with partner teams, and deliver impactful results. The role combines short-term execution with long-term strategic planning, requiring quick decision-making with incomplete data, and influencing the future direction of Amazon Brazil Fulfillment Operations.

This role offers a unique perspective on Amazon's systems, processes, and operations, involving interaction with multiple teams to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. The ultimate goal is to enhance our ability to fulfill more products to customers safely, quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast inbound and outbound volumes at Fulfillment Centers (FC) weekly and daily.
• Establish robust processes to improve forecasting accuracy, aiming to reduce costs and increase operational productivity.
• Use problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations, and technical teams.
• Manage Fulfillment Center scheduling to optimize operations and vendor/seller experience.
• Create queries and visualizations for reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Scale existing processes through automation and available tools.
• Analyze business metrics, identify gaps, and develop plans to reduce forecast deviations.
• Develop new metrics to evaluate and improve forecasting efficiency.
• Oversee daily operations and implement quick corrective actions.
• Conduct regular business reviews with leadership to monitor performance and progress.
• Implement best practices from other regions to minimize supply chain losses.

Key Qualifications

• Experience with data-driven improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Experience managing programs end-to-end and communicating with senior leadership.
• Background in supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related fields.
• Ability to set goals independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills in a tech environment.
