Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a SAP TM Functional Expert to configure and optimize transportation management solutions across regional and international deployments. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/SCM/Business, 5+ years in SAP, BN4L and Advanced TM knowledge, and willingness to travel 10–25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field as listed in the requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP TM configurations.
• Experience with regional and international SAP TM deployments.
• Preferred: professional SAP TM certification.

Role Summary

The SAP TM Functional Expert plays a meaningful role in crafting and optimizing transportation management processes for our organization. This position is responsible for configuring SAP TM solutions, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical execution, and acting as a key liaison between business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions, including SAP BN4L and Advanced TM modules, to meet evolving business needs.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions with multi-functional teams, translating business objectives into actionable SAP TM configurations.
• Serve as the main point of contact between business users and IT, facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Identify, document, and raise critical issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to drive project delivery, solution adoption, and ongoing system optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP
• Proven ability to communicate sophisticated concepts clearly to both business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation leadership skills.
• Preferred Skills Professional SAP TM certification or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with regional and international SAP TM deployments.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management, including configuration and implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in BN4L and Advanced TM functionalities.
• Familiarity with change management and project leadership in large-scale SAP environments.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 10-25% regional and international travel required. Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
