Role:
Lead HR for the site (all sub-systems), serve as the voice for behaviors and culture. Drive Talent and Performance Management, Commit to Customer, Innovate, and Embrace Change! Manage workload, balance priorities, and ensure deliverables are on time and of high quality, in accordance with applicable laws and workplace policies.
Responsibilities:
Core HR:
- Create a high-touch, personal HR experience by supporting employees with questions, concerns, and engagement.
- Partner with employees, business leaders, and management to communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations; provide guidance, coaching, and leadership support.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reduce legal risks, and ensure compliance. Collaborate with HR Policy and legal departments as needed.
- Work closely with employees, Business HR, and managers to improve relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Partner with BHR on Talent and Performance Management, providing data and support for implementation of actions and innovative solutions.
- Provide guidance on talent and performance management, including coaching, consulting, corrective actions, and crisis management.
- Support complex employee relations issues and investigations in partnership with Policy & Investigation COE.
- Assist with onboarding alongside People Leaders and Onboarding Buddies.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition data, and collaborate with Business HR for corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Identify leadership coaching needs and perform coaching as necessary.
- Consult on employee compensation matters to ensure alignment with pay-for-performance and recognition programs.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with COEs to enhance processes related to compensation, benefits, TA, and T&D.
Labor:
- Maintain relationships with union officials, monitor policy implementation regarding wages, hours, and conditions, and address grievances.
- Administer hourly and union-represented compensation according to agreements.
- Implement and support local and national agreements, participate in negotiations as required.
- Support initiatives like WoC, DEI, development programs, MFG University, recognition, and others that contribute to a positive work environment.
