Qualificações

• Graduation in Chemical or Environmental Engineering required.

Summary

Coordinate the industrial security area, property and environmental security to ensure compliance with Lubrizol Corp's security policy and environment and also to Brazilian law. Responsible for Paulinia unit.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead HSE On Site, establish HSE Culture following Lubrizol Corporate and Local Site Requirements. Prepare website induction, onboarding and training plan for employees, site contractors, visitors, and ensure adherence to training plan and reflect.
2. Ensure the correct implementation of health policies, occupational safety, quality, and environment of Lubrizol Corp in the Paulínia plant.
3. Guarantee compliance with Brazilian law regarding occupational safety in the Paulinia plant.
4. Ensure training, audits, and accompaniments to ensure continuous updating of employee knowledge and improvement in occupational safety, quality, and environment areas.
5. Maintain technical information exchange and reports with the matrix, participate, monitor, and manage audits regarding industrial and security areas.
6. Keep incident reports updated, perform critical analysis, and implement corrective actions.
7. Track production processes and manage security routines and indicators.
8. Collaborate with the production team on risk assessments and non-standard work for health and safety.
9. Establish OSHA standards and corporate requirements for occupational health hazards and monitoring.
10. Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
11. Ensure proper investigations, JSA, and Process Safety Management implementation in plant operations.
12. Lead and participate in safety studies like Hazop, SIL, QRA, Hazid, Noise, Ergonomic, Man-Machine, Ehazop, DHA, ensuring compliance and proper design.
13. Review and implement SOPs, Lubrizol Cardinal Rules, and operational HSE requirements during project commissioning and startup.
14. Prepare emergency plans for project sites and conduct mock drills to ensure site preparedness.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Graduation in Chemical Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering. Post-graduate specialization is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of HSE rules and regulations.
• Experience in environmental infrastructure management and safety culture development.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment, Fire, Hygiene, and Training protocols.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable.
