Descrição da oferta de emprego

As a HR Manager you will deliver comprehensive HR services at the local level, ensuring agreement on the regional HR Business Services goals and compliance with local regulations. You will emphasize local service delivery, which accounts for 75% of the responsibilities. You will report to HR Business Services Leader.

Key Responsibilities

1. Local Service Delivery: 75%

Hiring and Onboarding: support managers in preparing job descriptions. Participate in interviews and extend offers to candidates, oversee onboarding process, accomplish regional/international moves and handle relocation arrangements.

Compensation: advise managers and HRBPs regarding compensation changes and employee wages ranges and increases. Inform Total Rewards of mandatory increases and CLA agreement and provide recommendations regarding country merit increases. Handle the local bonus / Performance Award Plans. Administer sales incentive plans, handle letter preparation and payout calculations with Finance and Sales.

Continuous Improvement: Lead HR process improvements, standardization and transformations.

ER/LR and Restructuring:

Monitor and update policies: Track changes in laws, update company policies, and distribute new regulations.

Manager support: Maintain regular contact with local managers and provide coaching.

Legal compliance: Offer legal advice on employment matters to ensure compliance with local labor laws.

Disciplinary actions: Advise and conduct disciplinary actions and grievances, and guide managers on legal aspects of departures.

Employee separations: Manage offboarding processes and employee separations.

Daily labor relations: Handle daily labor relations tasks.

Union negotiations: Prepare and lead negotiations with unions or works councils.

Restructure support: Support organizational restructuring plans, including feasibility studies and severance calculations.

2. Strategic Department (SBU) Strategy Implementation: 20%

Performance Management: Support local goal setting and clarify mid-year performance activities. Advise on year-end rating collection and calibrations.

Talent Management and Engagement: Provide insights into local talents for regional or global talent reviews. Provide insights into local talents for succession planning.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): support and facilitate DEI education upon request of local leadership.

3. Local Projects: 5%

Consult and decide on medical services coordination /wellness or other specific local activities according to Global PPG Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with HR Manager roles in a national or global company with different employee populations (sales, unionized, retail, other).

  • 3+ years of experience with local labor laws and regulations.

  • Fluent English with excellent oral and written skills. Spanish is desirable.
