This role will focus on leading the HR initiatives with the assigned area of responsibility. The Business Partner will work collaboratively with business leadership team(s) in understanding the business strategies, goals, objectives and key performance measures of the organization. Will use this knowledge and understanding to align and drive key HR strategies/initiatives, expertise, insight and solutions to support the culture and key business function needs. Will develop and implement processes to facilitate/project lead organization changes and business transformation and support with appropriate change management processes.
Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Partner with the General Manager in Brazil and the LATAM HR team to drive strategic alignment between organizational design and business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leaders, providing insights and recommendations on people-related matters to support business goals.
- Lead organizational diagnoses and propose actionable plans focused on performance, engagement, and talent development.
- Participate in leadership forums to influence culture, people strategy, and decision-making processes.
Organizational Development & Talent Management
- Assess current talent and design long-term strategies to build necessary capabilities, ensuring the right skills and competencies to elevate organizational performance.
- Lead performance management cycles, including evaluations, calibration sessions, and individual development plans.
- Support succession planning and the creation of robust career and development paths.
- Promote leadership development and change management initiatives.
Employee Experience, Culture & Engagement
- Drive initiatives to strengthen company culture and embed values into daily practices.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and lead the implementation of action plans.
- Plan and execute HR-led engagement and integration events to foster team connection and a positive work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Conduct salary reviews, merit increases, promotions, and organizational changes in alignment with compensation guidelines.
- Prepare budget impact analyses and ensure alignment with internal policies and global frameworks.
- Make monthly purchases of company benefits (transportation vouchers, meal/food/fuel cards) and manage benefit contracts (health, dental, life insurance) in partnership with the brokerage firm, identifying needs for modifications or new implementations.
- Perform cost center reconciliations and accounting entries for HR-related expenses in the ERP system.
Personnel Administration & Operational Processes
- Oversee hiring, terminations, internal transfers, and contract management.
- Oversee personnel administration, including admissions, terminations, internal transfers, and contracts.
- Ensure data accuracy in HR systems and proper integration with payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal obligations related to payroll, including eSocial reporting, timekeeping, labor charges, and legal deadlines.
- Be responsible for all payroll inputs, checking amounts, and uploading payments into the bank system (Itaú).
- Support the consistency and compliance of processes based on labor legislation and internal company policies.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support hiring processes for key positions, working closely with leaders to align candidate profiles with business needs.
- Ensure a structured onboarding process and positive new hire experience.
- Represent the company’s values throughout the recruitment and integration journey.
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Be a reliable resource for employees, providing clear guidance on policies, procedures, compensation, and benefits.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns or conflicts with fairness and confidentiality, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on sensitive cases and ensure proper documentation.
- Ability to translate business needs into effective strategies and actions to execute against those strategies.
- Ability to work independently. Ability to assess the needs of the business and design and implement the best solutions. Ability to resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and highly complex environment. Ability to act as a credible coach and facilitator and a role model for effective leadership and performance. - Spanish is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and skills identified are typically acquired by completing a Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university
- 5+ years of HR experience preferred.
- Must have a solid generalist background in key HR areas such as organizational design, compensation, benefits, employee relations, strong labor law knowledge, talent acquisition and development.
- A strong organizational development background is highly desirable.
