Travel: Yes, frequently within the US and occasionally to the UK

Contract type: Permanent, full time (5 days)

Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience)

Our team in the UK has grown to more than 45 people and, having made our first few hires in the US last year, we're delighted to be hiring our Head of Chains - USA.

The Role:

Reporting into MOTH's Co-Founders, the Head of Chains will join the small but growing team, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and execution of MOTH's US sales strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the drinks industry, be an excellent relationship builder, and a track record of driving growth through exceptional execution of sales strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Executing sales strategy across multiple states and maximizing the opportunities to deliver against ambitious sales targets
  • Managing and developing MOTH's existing premium chain grocery accounts and retailers. Building excellent relationships with key stakeholders to deliver growth and profitability
  • While this role is more focused on account management than new business focused, you will be involved in identifying opportunities and winning new customers
  • Seamless onboarding of new customers, working with internal teams to develop excellent onboarding processes for a successful launch
  • Regularly reporting on sales performance metrics and KPIs, driving performance and understanding the "why" behind the numbers
  • Working closely with the US Marketing Manager and US Head of Ops to ensure consistent brand delivery and availability across all channels
  • Management of a small but growing sales team in Florida and Massachusetts

Requirements

Who you are
  • Passionate about the drinks industry - you'll have a proven track record of sales in FMCG, preferably drinks (within grocery or on premise)
  • Expert communicator and relationship builder
  • Data is your best friend, you are very comfortable in a spreadsheet and can translate data into meaningful actions where needed
  • KPIs and outcome driven
  • Problem solver
  • Not essential but if you have experience of VIP/ iDIG platforms it would be beneficial
  • Previous management experience would be beneficial
